Welcome to 16th and Highland. He’s Jacob, I’m McKenzie. We are two roommates, both students at the University of Tennessee, who are desperately trying to curb our excitement over this season. Throughout the fall, we will be chronicling Lane Kiffin’s first season on the Hill. We will be writing from a UT Student point-of-view. The way we see it, we’re here, on campus, experiencing this landmark season up close and personal. So, this is the place you come to read about a Lane Kiffin sighting on campus, what’s painted on “The Rock” throughout the week, or anything interesting that happens on the Strip pre and post game. It’s also a place to read knowledgeable, objective commentary on what we hope will be an entertaining four months of football. Fellow UT Students, if you feel like you know more about the Vols than any other student, this is the place for you. We’ll try to keep everything football related, but as we are roommates, we might slip in the occasional shout out or birthday wish. We will probably be providing similar insights but we also both have our own distinct styles. Jacob tends to be more profane, and quite frankly, arrogant, whereas I’m more from the old school of football fandom. Maybe you’ll like what I say better, maybe you’ll like Jacob. Maybe you won’t like either of us, but we think there’s a place here for you even if that’s the case. We welcome comments on anything we post.
